Get My Teeth Straightened
After getting shit from my dentist for several years about my overlapping teeth, I finally decided to do something about it. My original plan was to do Invisalign or another type of clear aligner, but after a consultation with my dentist, they determined that due to the crookedness of my teeth, I was not a candidate for it. After seeing how much more work goes into having Invisalign, I’m pretty happy that I got metal braces!
I was an adult brace face for about 18 months and it wasn’t too bad. I did some fun colors during the year and a half and only had to wear the bands in the back for about 2 months. I do have a permanent retainer behind the front teeth in the bottom and the top, so I still don’t get to floss like normal and I’m still wearing my clear retainer at night because I want to keep my teeth in line!! I’m super happy with my results!
